Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul

Arriving in Istanbul marks the beginning of your exciting journey. Land at either Istanbul Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW). Upon disembarking, you’ll find your greeter holding a “CEO34” sign at the designated meeting points. At Istanbul Airport, head to the 8th gate, while at Sabiha Gokcen Airport, look for the 10th column. Your greeter will verify your name and lead you to a private transfer vehicle for a comfortable ride to your hotel. Expect the drive to take around 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. After checking into the Metropolitan Taksim Hotel, take some time to settle in and enjoy your first evening in this vibrant city.

The journey begins with a visit to the iconic Blue Mosque, also known as Sultan Ahmed Mosque, where you’ll marvel at its stunning architecture and intricate tilework. Next, admire the exterior of the Hagia Sophia, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a rich history.
Continue to the grand Topkapi Palace, a former residence of Ottoman sultans, now a museum showcasing remarkable artifacts from the Ottoman era. Finally, experience the hustle and bustle of the Grand Bazaar, one of the world’s largest and oldest covered markets, where you can shop for Turkish delights, leather goods, and handcrafted carpets. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
